2 · The app
Every feature is available for free.
Muxsmith is a direct-download macOS app. The free version processes up to three video files in a submitted batch and allows up to three unfinished source videos in each processing or transcription queue. Muxsmith requires macOS 14 or later; transcription has separate Apple-silicon and macOS 26 requirements described on the product page.
Media processing happens locally. Source files are not uploaded to the licence service or Paddle.
3 · Supporter purchase
One payment, not a subscription.
Muxsmith Supporter is a one-time USD 9.99 purchase. It lifts the free batch and queue limits on up to three active Macs controlled by the purchaser. It does not add features or change output quality.
The purchase does not transfer ownership of Muxsmith or promise a particular future feature, operating-system compatibility, update schedule or indefinite online service.
4 · Paddle checkout
Paddle is the merchant of record.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides customer service for the transaction and handles returns.
Paddle presents the final order, tax and payment details before purchase and sends the order confirmation. Paddle’s Buyer Terms also apply to the transaction.
5 · Licence and activations
Use one Supporter licence on up to three active Macs.
The Supporter licence is personal to the purchaser and may not be sold, transferred, shared publicly or used to bypass activation limits. Deactivate a Mac before moving the licence when possible. Contact support if a lost or replaced Mac prevents deactivation.
Muxsmith uses a random installation ID rather than a hardware fingerprint. The signed entitlement supports up to 30 days of offline use after its latest successful validation. If validation is unavailable, the free app remains usable.

These terms do not limit consumer rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
